About the Lessons

Every student is different, so I do not follow a single fixed programme.

At the beginning, we discuss your experience, interests and goals and use these to shape the lessons. Some students may want to follow a structured programme, while others may prefer to focus on particular pieces, technical problems or theoretical questions.

Lessons are available on a weekly, biweekly or occasional basis, depending on your needs and availability.

Lessons take place at the student’s location in Breda and the surrounding area, with travel included in the lesson price.

About Me

I am a Polish organist and composer based in the Netherlands. I graduated with distinction from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice and studied at Codarts Rotterdam.

I am also Junior Organist-in-Residence at the Pieterskerk in Leiden and regularly perform as an organist and pianist.

Alongside performing, I work as a composer and have a particular interest in helping students understand not only how to play music, but also why it works.

My teaching combines practical musicianship with a deeper understanding of music, always adapted to the individual student.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need previous musical experience?

No. Beginners are very welcome, and lessons can be adapted to your current level.

Can children take lessons?

Yes. Piano and music theory lessons can be adapted for children as well as adults.

Can I learn the organ if I have only played the piano?

Absolutely. Previous piano experience is helpful, but it is not necessary. We can start with the basics of organ technique and gradually introduce the pedalboard and organ repertoire.

Do I need to own an instrument?

Not necessarily. Since lessons take place at the student’s location, you will generally need access to a suitable piano or organ. If you do not have access to an instrument, please get in touch and we can discuss possible options.

Can I take occasional lessons rather than weekly lessons?

Yes. Regular weekly lessons are useful for steady progress, but occasional lessons are also possible – for example, when preparing a particular piece, concert or audition.

Is travel included in the price?

Yes. Travel within Breda and the surrounding area is included.

Can I try one lesson before committing to regular lessons?

Yes. A 30-minute trial lesson is available for €20.
